The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has appointed Mrs. Victoria Abosede Wickliffe as the substantive Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council.
This appointment became effective on Saturday, February 1, 2025, following the resolution passed during the meeting of the UNILAG Governing Council on Friday, December 6, 2024, which was presided over by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN.
On February 3, 2025, Mrs. Wickliffe officially assumed the office of the registrar, signifying the commencement of her five-year tenure as University registrar.
Before her appointment, Mrs. Wickliffe served as the Deputy Registrar and Acting Director of Academic Affairs. She succeeded Mrs. Olakunle Esther Makinde, MNIM, FISN, who had been appointed as Acting Registrar of the University on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
