The Commissioner for Works, Housing, and Urban Development, Tiza Isaac Imojime Orya, led a distinguished delegation from the City Boy Movement (CBM), accompanied by Mrs. Abiodun Essiet, Senior Special Assistant to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community Engagement, to meet with His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, at the Government House.
During this meeting, the governor was informed of the progress achieved thus far and the plans for the forthcoming North Central Summit and Empowerment event, which is set to take place in Benue State.
The CBM expressed its commendation for the substantial developmental initiatives undertaken by the governor, indicating its admiration for the progress observed in the state.
In his response, Governor Alia acknowledged the grassroots mobilization efforts of the CBM and recognized its significant contribution to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He also expressed gratitude to the leadership for selecting Benue State as the host for the upcoming Summit and assured them of his administration's unwavering support.
Governor Alia referred to the Benue Summit as the "Mother of All CBM Zonal Summits" and praised the Grand Patron, Chief Seyi Tinubu, for his exemplary leadership, which serves as a model for youth to emulate.
The Commissioner for Works presented to the governor the "Nelson Mandela Pan-African Leadership Prize," awarded to him by the Stay Africa Youth Development Initiative (SAYDI-AFRICA) during a ceremony held the previous day at his office.
Governor Alia extended his congratulations to Tiza and urged him to continue his efforts to make the state proud.
