As of the latest reports, the match between Fiorentina and Inter Milan was indeed suspended due to the concerning incident involving midfielder Edoardo Bove, who collapsed during the game.

Edoardo Bove was promptly transported to Careggi Hospital in Florence via ambulance, as both players and spectators observed the alarming situation unfold with 16 minutes elapsed in the match, which had not yet produced any goals.
Serie A informed AFP that the contest would be rescheduled for an undetermined date. Fiorentina subsequently announced that Bove, 22 years of age, was under sedation in the intensive care unit of Careggi Hospital, where he arrived in a “stable” condition.
A joint statement from Fiorentina and the hospital indicated, “Initial cardiological and neurological evaluations have ruled out severe damage to his central nervous system as well as to the cardio-respiratory systems.” They further noted, “Edoardo Bove will undergo re-evaluation within the next 24 hours.”
Edoardo Bove, born on May 16, 2002, is an Italian professional footballer who operates as a midfielder for Serie A club Fiorentina, currently on loan from AS Roma.
He was born in Rome to a family with paternal roots in Naples, while his maternal lineage is German-Italian. Bove was raised in the Appio-Latino neighborhood and attended the Massimo Institute in the EUR district of Rome.
He pursued higher education at Luiss 'Guido Carli' in Rome, specializing in Economics and Management. In interviews, Bove has expressed his admiration for Daniele De Rossi, the former captain of AS Roma.
