A young man named Anya reportedly took his own life following the abandonment by a woman to whom he had spent more than six million naira taking care of her.
According to the source, Anya invested a significant amount of resources in sponsoring his girlfriend's education as well as renovating the family home of his future father-in-law.
Despite not having a formal education himself, Anya financed the education of Sira Nkesi her girlfriend.
In a heartfelt written account, he stated:

You assured me that you would spend your life with me if I supported you throughout your university education.
Out of goodwill and affection, I ensured that I financed your entrance examinations and diligently followed up until you secured admission.
Now that you are nearing the completion of your studies, I approached your father to request his blessing for our marriage, only to be informed that you are betrothed to another man.
Sarima, why are you causing me such distress?"
In his final letter, Anya's last words to Sira were: "Goodbye World. Sira Nkesi, I Pray Karma takes Care Of you!!!"
