The Management of Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, has announced the resumption of full clinical services following the conclusion of an indefinite strike initiated by the Association of Resident Doctors, the National Association of Nurses and Midwives, and the Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU).

The Management wishes to inform the public that hospital Consultants, Resident Doctors, House Officers, as well as other clinical and non-clinical staff, are now available around the clock to attend to both outpatients and inpatients during designated clinic days.

Additionally, emergency services will be provided continuously, including on weekends and public holidays.

Under the leadership of Dr. Stephen Terungwa Hwande, the Management expresses gratitude to the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for his prompt intervention in resolving the labor dispute that led to the cessation of the strike by the various unions.

A statement issued by the Acting Head of Public Relations, Mr. Tsenzughul Moses, emphasizes the Management's commitment to ensuring that patients receive the highest quality healthcare that they deserve.
