The Jigawa State Government has suspended Auwalu Dalladi Sankara, the State Commissioner For Special Duties. This action follows his alleged involvement in an 'illicit affair' with a married woman in an uncompleted building.

The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Bala Ibrahim, released a statement on Saturday, stating that Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has sanctioned the immediate suspension of Auwalu Dalladi Sankara as Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Special Duties, and member of the State Executive Council.

This suspension is pending an investigation into the allegations made by the Kano State Hisbah.
