5. O’level/A’level Result: Candidates must have their O’level or A’level results available before registration. Acceptable results include those from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. Candidates may also register with an awaiting result as long as the results are uploaded on the JAMB portal before admission.
6. JAMB ePIN: This unique code is available through authorized channels, such as banks, online payment platforms, or USSD codes. The cost for the ePIN is N3,500, applicable for a single registration.
7. Mock-UTME Fee Candidates are required to pay N1500 for the examination fee, N1500 for the optional Mock-UTME (if applicable), and N700 for the registration fee.
8. Biodata: Candidates must provide personal information such as name, date of birth, gender, state of origin, and local government area. Candidates are to submit a passport photograph, complete biometric verification, and provide their signature.
9. Material Requirements: Candidates must ensure that they have all these requirements before proceeding to initiate the registration procedure, as they are crucial and mandatory to all those wishing to register for the 2025/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Essential Steps for JAMB 2025/2026 Candidates to Take After Registration

1. Acquire Registration Slip: After the registration process has been completed, candidates will receive a printout of their registration slip detailing personal information, examination schedule, and center. Additionally, a CD containing the JAMB syllabus and e-brochure will be provided.
2. Prepare for Examination: Candidates should prepare for the exam by studying the JAMB syllabus and reviewing past questions. Utilization of the JAMB CBT application or online platform is encouraged. The recommended novel for the English examination is “Life Changer” by Khadija A. Jalli.

Requirements and Date for JAMB Direct Entry 2025/2026

The application period for the JAMB Direct Entry (DE) for the academic year 2025/2026 will commence on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, and conclude on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Direct Entry candidates are individuals who have completed a diploma, National Certificate in Education (NCE), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or an equivalent qualification and seek admission into a degree program.

It is essential to note that DE candidates are also required to participate in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME); however, their admission will be considered primarily based on their prior qualifications.
