In a conversation with Coco Jones for the "Musicians on Musicians" edition of Rolling Stone, the 21-year-old artist emphasized the significance of her family and friends, highlighting their ongoing importance in her life as her career evolves.
“When I return home to Nigeria, I still reside with my family. My brothers create a lively atmosphere by playing video games,” Starr stated. “I actively involve my friends in my daily experiences; for instance, we maintain a group chat where I seek their opinions regarding my attire.
I am deeply grateful for their support; however, there are moments when the demands become overwhelming, prompting me to take a temporary retreat.”
