David Adeleke, the globally renowned Afrobeats artist, also known as Davido, has clarified that he hails from a family known for its values, contrary to certain misconceptions. He emphasized that his occasional public missteps should not overshadow his upbringing, which was rooted in respect.
Davido made these remarks during a formal visit to the Olu of Warri in Delta State on Saturday.
"I was raised by exemplary parents and come from a family with strong values. However, as a public figure, I acknowledge that my actions may occasionally deviate from expectations," he stated.
It's worth noting that Wizkid recently made remarks about Davido's family, suggesting that the 'OBO' crooner lacked proper upbringing.
"When you encounter individuals who have been raised with strong family values, it becomes evident. You won't see my relatives engaging in public displays," Wizkid expressed on his social media platform, indirectly referring to Davido's uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, also known as the 'Dancing Governor' due to his numerous online dance videos.
