The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) has released the commencement date for the post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Eligibility for FUHSO 2024/2025 Post-UTME
Prospective candidates must have applied through JAMB for the 2024/2025 UTME or Direct Entry admission and selected the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) as their first choice to be eligible for the exercise.
UTME candidates must have passed O’Level with a minimum of five relevant subjects at credit level, including English and Mathematics, within not more than two sittings.
FUHSO 2024/2025 Admission Minimum cut-off marks
College of Medicine:
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - 240 and above B.Sc. Biochemistry - 200 and above
Faculty of Science:
- B.Sc. Microbiology - 200 and above
- B.Sc. Computer Science - 180 and above
- B.Sc. Chemistry - 180 and above
- B.Sc. Biostatistics - 180 and above
- B.Sc. Biological Sciences - 180 and above
- B.Sc. Mathematics - 180 and above
- B.Sc. Physics - 180 and above
FUHSO 2024/2025 UTME Alternative Courses
Candidates with a score of 220 and above in UTME may be allowed to take an alternative course during the screening exercise from the following programs:
- B. Pharmacy
- B. Nursing Science
- B. Medical Lab. Science
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates, the University accepts a minimum of Second Class lower in relevant Science courses or A Levels/IJMB with a minimum of 13 points, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
FUHSO Post-UTME 2024/2024 Screening Date
Candidates who selected FUHSO as their University of First Choice during the 2024 JAMB examination are invited for Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening on the following schedule.
- Date: Monday – Tuesday, 21st – 22nd October, 2024.
- Venue: Lecture Theatre, Take-Off Campus, Otada, Otukpo
FUHSO Change of Institution
Candidates wishing to switch to this University should update their selection on the JAMB portal and choose the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) as their university of first choice.
Such candidates should select the desired program for which they have the requisite UTME subject combinations and relevant O’Level results.
Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are successfully uploaded on the JAMB portal for admission. Any candidate whose results are not uploaded will not be available on JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and thus will not be eligible for admission.
FUHSO 2024/2025 Post-UTME Screening Requirements
Candidates are requested to appear for the screening with the following documents:
- Evidence of selecting the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) as the first choice through JAMB
- Print out of JAMB results from JAMB CAPS
- Original SSCE/NECO O’ Level Certificate/Result
- Birth Certificate
- Two passport photographs
- Evidence of the payment of a non-refundable processing fee of two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only in favor of FUHSO through REMITA.
- Two photocopies of each of the above documents
FUHSO 2024/2025 Post UTME Process
To complete the application process for admission to the Federal University of Health Technology, Otukpo (FUHSO), prospective candidates are required to adhere to the following steps:
- Access the FUHSO admission portal by visiting https://www.fuhso.edu.ng/.
- Click on the prominently displayed "Apply Now" button on the homepage.
- Create a new account or log in to an existing one. For new users, the "Create Account" link should be selected to provide personal and contact details. Existing users can log in using their username and password.
- Accurately complete the application form, providing personal information, academic qualifications, and contact details.
- Proceed to make the necessary application fee payment.
- Upload certified supporting documents as required on the portal.
- Upon completing document uploads, click on the "Submit Application" button for review by the FUHSO admissions board.
- Print the Acknowledgement slip for your records.
- Finally, monitor your admission status accordingly.
