The All Progressives Congress (APC) secured victory in all the seats during the local government election conducted in Kogi State on Saturday. Mamman Eri, the Kogi State Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), revealed this while announcing the election results on Saturday night.
Eri stated, "APC demonstrated outstanding performance by claiming victory in all the chairmanship and councillorship positions, surpassing the 18 other participating political parties."
He confirmed, "The results announced at the headquarters had been previously declared at the various collation centers by the respective returning officers."
Eri expressed gratitude to the electoral officials, security operatives, observers, and journalists for their contributions in ensuring the success of the election.
