- Visit the JAMB admission portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Log in to your JAMB profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down, then click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
- Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the appropriate column.
- Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to discern your ABSU admission status.

Since its establishment in 1981 as Imo State University, Etiti, the university has played a pivotal role in providing quality education and fostering academic growth.
Originally situated in Imo State, the university was relocated to its permanent site in Uturu Okigwe between 1984 and 1985. After the creation of Abia State in 1991, the Uturu campus became Abia State University Uturu, located in Isuikwuato Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria. The university is structured into colleges and schools, following a collegiate system similar to the University of Nebraska.
Abia State University offers a wide range of academic programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. It operates two campuses: the main campus in Uturu and the College of Law, College of Agriculture, and Veterinary Medicine located in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, Nigeria.
