The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command has issued a statement refuting the circulating rumors regarding a purported plan by terrorists to carry out an attack and abduct students from the University of Abuja campus. These rumors have caused tension within the university community and on various online platforms.
In response, the FCT Command, through its spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, has dismissed the reports as groundless publications spread by individuals seeking to induce unwarranted panic and fear among FCT residents and the university community.
The Command has reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring the safety and protection of residents within the FCT, including the University of Abuja, through the implementation of adequate personnel and equipment to bolster security measures.
