The University of Ilorin (Unilorin) has announced the 2024/2025 pre-admission screening, which is scheduled to take place from August 5th to 18th. Mr. Kunle Akogun, the institution’s Director of Corporate Affairs, conveyed this information in a statement on Monday, outlining the procedures for the screening process.
Mr. Akogun specified that the admission offer will be determined based on the UTME/DE aggregate score (50%), post-UTME screening score (30%), and five relevant O’ level grades (20%).
Emphasizing the importance of adhering to the guidelines, he indicated that all candidates must upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results on JAMB CAPS. Additionally, candidates awaiting results are required to indicate their status by selecting ‘AR’ (awaiting result).
Mr. Akogun advised candidates to make any necessary changes to their courses on JAMB CAPS rather than on the institution’s portal. He cautioned that updates would not be permitted once the registration period is closed. Moreover, he underscored the significance of providing a personal, valid, and active email address and mobile number before initiating the registration process.
