Real Madrid's Spanish forward #21 Brahim Diaz celebrated after scoring his team's second goal, while Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos opened the scoring with a right-footed shot in the 19th minute.

Brahim Diaz later fired in a left-footed kick from a challenging angle in the 27th minute to double Real Madrid's lead. Despite English striker Noni Madueke scoring for Chelsea in the 39th minute, they were unable to find an equalizer.
