The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is currently engaged in discussions with Herve Renard and Tom Sanfeit regarding the vacant position of head coach for the national team, Super Eagles.
CirclesonTV reports that the NFF has requested the two coaches to submit their financial proposals.
Renard, who recently departed from his role as the head coach of the French national team, has previously achieved success by guiding Zambia and Ivory Coast to victory in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Notably, he also led Morocco during the 2018 World Cup.
Safe, on the other hand, has gained experience working with the Gambian national team from 2018 to 2024 and was recognized as one of the top five best coaches of the year in Africa in 2022 and 2023.
Following Finidi George's resignation in June, the Super Eagles are currently without a head coach.
