The administration of Ebonyi State University, (EBSU) wishes to notify all prospective candidates who have applied for admission that the registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (P-UTME)/Direct Entry Screening Exercise of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, (EBSU) has officially commenced and is scheduled to end on 23rd August 2024.

The application period is from 29th July, 2024, to 23rd August 2024. Candidates are required to make a non-refundable payment of N2,000.00 naira only for the Post UTME.

Eligible candidates are those who have obtained a minimum score of 140 and above in the 2024/2025 UTME and have selected Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki as their first choice institution.

Candidates who are willing to change their first-choice institution to EBSU are also eligible. Please take note that some courses at EBSU require a higher JAMB score.

Direct Entry candidates who have chosen EBSU as their first choice institution and those intending to change their first-choice institution to EBSU are expected to partake in this online screening exercise to facilitate the screening and verification of their O’level results.

Candidates Eligible to Obtain 2024/2024 EBSU Post UTME Form

Applicants are expected to take note of the procedures below

1. Candidates who are awaiting the results of NABTEB, WAEC (May/June), and NECO (June/July) 2024 are eligible to apply.
2. Inconsistencies in the candidate's name are not permissible and may result in disqualification. The names on the candidates’ O’ Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents must be identical.
3. Physical screening for candidates is not required.
4. Admission status will be communicated to candidates via the EBSU portal.
5. Prior to being recommended for admission by JAMB, candidates must upload their O’level results to both the EBSU portal and the JAMB portal.
6. Candidates are required to accept the admission offer on CAPS or the JAMB portal within four(4) weeks. Failure to do so within the stipulated period will result in the withdrawal of the admission offer.

DIRECT ENTRY:

All direct entry candidates who have selected EBSU as their institution of choice are expected to undergo an online screening process. They are advised to access the school’s portal for additional information about the online screening and to request their institutions to send transcripts of their results to the EBSU Registrar.

How to Apply for 2024/2025 EBSU Post UTME Form

To commence the registration process, please adhere to the steps provided below:

Eligible candidates are advised to complete the registration process by remitting a processing fee of N2,000 only.

1. Proceed to the EBSU Post UTME link: www.portal.ebsu.edu.ng
2. Select "ONLINE APPLICATION FORMS"
3. Choose the appropriate application form: "POST UTME" or "Direct Entry Candidates"
4. Input your JAMB registration number in the correct format
5. Click on "LOGIN" to obtain your payment invoice
6. Make the required payment at any bank or utilize online payment with your debit card
7. Upon payment, return to the portal to complete the application form
8. Ensure that your personal email address and phone number are accurately provided
