The Abia State University (ABSU) has commenced the sales of the Post UTME form for both JAMB and Direct Entry (DE) candidates for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The online sale of the Post UTME Screening Exercise Application form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session for admission into Abia State University (ABSU) Degree Programmes is now open.
This invitation is extended to all candidates who selected Abia State University as their First or Second choice, those intending to change to ABSU as their First choice, and those who did not initially select ABSU but wish to be admitted into the University.
Applicants with a score equal to or above the University's cut-off of 140 in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to register for the Aptitude Test exercise, including all Direct Entry candidates.
The cost of the 2024/2025 ABSU Post UTME form is N2,000.00 and should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL in other to get enable for admission processing. This fee is non-refundable and bank charges will apply.
Abia State University Post UTME Screening Form 2024/2025 Eligibility & Requirements
Eligible candidates for the ABSU undergraduate programs in the 2024/2025 academic session are required to meet the following criteria.
- Choose Abia State University as their 1st choice or 2nd choice, or be willing to change their choice to ABSU on the JAMB Portal.
- Score 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Possess the necessary O’level credit passes as stipulated by the University’s Entry Requirements.
- Candidates with Awaiting Results can also apply but should indicate accordingly.
How to Apply for Abia State University ABSU Post UTME Form 2024/2025
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are advised to follow the instructions provided before for ABSU Post UTM portal and follow these steps:
- Visit ABSU portal (portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng)
- Log on to the ABSU portal and generate an invoice.
- Proceed to any designated bank branch and pay N2,000.00. ABSU Microfinance Bank; Ecobank Plc Zenith Bank Plc First Bank Plc Fidelity Bank Plc Union Bank Plc
- Return to the ABSU portal and click on "Applicant," then select "ABSU Aptitude Test."
- Complete the Application Form, ensure a clear passport photograph is uploaded, and download a copy as evidence of registration.
- Candidates must provide accurate details during the application for the post-UTME screening test.
- Candidates are not required to upload any photograph or biometric capture, as this information has been supplied by JAMB.
- Failure to register for the Post UTME Screening Exercise will result in ineligibility for admission.
- However, foreign candidates, inmates of correctional centers (prisons), as well as blind and deaf candidates are exempted from the Post UTME Screening Exercise.
