Senator Ali Ndume declined newly assigned office space at the National Assembly

Senator Ali Ndume from Borno South expressed his dissatisfaction with the new office space allocated to him by the Senate Service Committee.

In a letter signed by his Chief Confidential Secretary, Yati Shuaibu Gawu, it was conveyed that Senator Ndume believes the assigned office does not align with his seniority and status as a high-ranking senator.

The letter highlighted that office allocation is traditionally based on seniority and, as the second most senior senator after Sen. Ahmad Lawan, Senator Ndume insisted on occupying an office on the fourth floor.

This development follows the removal of Senator Ndume from his position as the Senate Chief Whip. The decision was made after he criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu, alleging that the government is being controlled by corrupt individuals solely focused on embezzling public funds.
