The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced that its Super Mushshak trainer aircraft was involved in a minor mishap at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Thursday, resulting in no casualties. AVM Edward Gabkwet, the NAF spokesman, announced this in a statement released in Abuja.
The incident involved two pilots returning from a routine training flight approximately 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military Airfield. Fortunately, both pilots emerged from the mishap unscathed.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has since directed a preliminary investigation to determine the immediate cause of the accident.
