The Nigerian Flying Eagles will seek to revive their fortunes at the 13th African Games by facing off against South Sudan in their second Group B match on Monday.
In their first game, Ladan Bosso's side suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Hippos of Uganda, and must now triumph over the debutants to have any chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.
This will be the first-ever encounter between Nigeria and South Sudan at any level. South Sudan, on the other hand, lost their opening game 1-0 to Senegal. The match will commence at the Accra Sports Stadium at 9pm Nigerian time.
