Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, a Nigerian musician, recently shared his thoughts on his music career in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Despite receiving numerous accolades, chart successes, and being one of the most bankable artists in Africa, Wizkid believes he has yet to achieve any major milestones in the music industry. He stated that his journey as a musician is only just beginning, and that, to him, music is a lifelong passion.
Circleson Television reports that Wizkid is Sub-Saharan Africa's most streamed artist across all platforms, and the most awarded artist in Nigeria. He is also the second most followed Nigerian musician on social media after Davido.
