The mortal remains of the Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and their son have been repatriated to Nigeria for their final interment rites.
The remains of the Wigwes were transported from the United States to the Port Harcourt International Airport and arrived on Friday.
The interment ceremony for the trio will take place on Saturday at Isiokpo, the ancestral home of the deceased individuals, located in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Wigwe, alongside his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), died in a helicopter crash at the border of Nevada and California in the US last month.
