Innocent Ujah Idibia, a prominent Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer, also known as "2Baba," has ended his 20-year professional partnership with Now Muzik management company, which is owned by Efe Omorogbe. The separation is mutual and has become effective immediately.
In an Instagram announcement, Efe Omorogbe, the co-founder and CEO of Now Muzik, expressed his gratitude to 2Baba for his trust and friendship over the years. Omorogbe stated that he is proud of the brands they established together, the music they produced, and the fans they entertained.
2Baba's talent has made him one of the most significant Nigerian musicians of all time, and it has been an honor to work alongside him, Omorogbe added. The CEO also affirmed that his team and him would continue to advocate for 2Baba from the sidelines.
2Baba, acknowledging the role of Now Muzik in his successful career, expressed his appreciation by stating that he owes a lot of his career success to Efe and his team at Now Muzik.
The singer recognized that he has been able to achieve his success through the support of various people and organizations working with him to bring his talent and vision to life. Now Muzik is one of such companies, and he couldn't be more grateful to them, he added.
After leaving The Plantashun Boiz, 2Baba joined Now Muzik in 2004. He will now be managed by his label, Hypertek Digital.
